Excellent location easy to walk to the Old Town, great facilities. Based just off the more touristy areas and the waterfront, the river and majority of restaurants, and bars restaurants...

Their breakfast option with options besides bordelaise specialties is above average, put others we have been to shame! The location is handy and perfectly comfortable, 1 km from a towering Romanesque cathedral.
The bathrooms are old.

The room was fairly cheap, but the
Check-in process was super quick and easy. The amenities were basic, and I felt the room could have used a little more attention to detail.

Good location for city centre. Very good breakfast selection, quality and service
Poor, outdated, room, E.G. cracked toilet bowl, missing net curtain (first room offered was unacceptable).

great access to attractions and walking areas for city lovers
I enjoyed how close we were to the beautiful Museum of Fine Arts, just a short walk of less than 1 km away, and the charming Eglise Saint-Bruno, only about 500 meters from our room. The room was spacious, but the sparse furnishings could use a refresh.

A very unpleasant reception staff welcomed us. We had booked for more than 3 months our room, explicitely asked for a twin, and by discovering the room found a single large bed ...... By asking back at reception for change they simply refused, answering that hotel was full . Only solution was to sleep on an arm chair bed ..... 2 hours later, asking to another receptionnist while coming back from dinner, certainly by magic, a twin room was available. Breakfast not included, proposed at the nice price of 15 euros !!!!

We travelled to the Mercure Bordeaux Centure for St. Patricks Day we had our dog with us, she is a Newfoundland, which are a giant breed,we found the staff very helpful, the whole experience was extremely enjoyable. We would highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family. Actually we planned a one night stay and booked for another night and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.
For us there was just one minor fault, we found the room too warm, even with the air conditioning on. However this would not stop us recommending the hotel to friends and family.
